Pay decision celebration 2nd July |

Queensland social and community services workers will hold a celebration in Brisbane this evening (July 2) to mark the imminent commencement of historic pay rises, which overcome the traditional undervaluing of this sector of the economy. On May 6 the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission (QIRC) announced massive pay rises for about 30,000 front line workers in over 2000 non-government social and community service (SACS) organisations in Queensland.
